One of least favorite chores is laundry…seriously, I use to subscribe to the “laundry is a three-day task” method. Day 1- Sort, Day 2- Wash & Dry, Day 3- Put away. Isn’t this how you do laundry? Great uses for Purex fabric softener dryer sheets
- Stinky gym socks- with lots of boys in our house we have no shortage! I put a dryer sheet in my son’s gym shoes and they smell awesome now!
- Diaper pails we still have one kid in diapers and no matter how fast we take the trash out the pail still smells. Put a dryer sheet in the bottom and the stink is gone.
- Undergarment drawers I personally love the way freshly laundered clothes smell so I popped a dryer sheet into my undergarment drawer and get a wonderful burst of aroma when I open it.
- Bug repellents did you know that dryer sheets make good bug repellant? Tuck one under your son’s baseball cap before he heads out to the game and see how few bugs are bugging him.
- Recycle- once the goodness of the Purex fabric softener sheets is gone you can reuse the sheets as dusting towels, recycling at its finest!
- Toilet paper rolls- tuck a fabric softener sheet into the tube of the toilet paper roll, every time the toilet paper is used it will release a pleasant smell =)
- No more Static Hair- did you know you can take a fabric softener sheet and gently rub it on your static filled hair? It totally works!
- Soap build up- I use fabric softener sheets when I wash the shower doors in my house, it helps remove any soap and scum build up and smells pleasant too!
What I love about these Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets:
They smell AWESOME! Let’s be honest, if I’m going to do the work of laundry I want to be somewhat enjoyable and the wonderful smell of Sweet Lavender or Mountain Breeze make it a little bit more fun. They’ve improved upon their sheets by adding THREE times the fragrance and greatly reducing static cling!
They soften! Not only do they offer a great scent to my freshly cleaned laundry but they also provide a fantastic softness to all my clothes. There is nothing quite like jumping into bed after a long day in soft, cozy pajamas and these help make that even more enjoyable.
They repel! Repel? Yes, repel. They help my clothing repel static (yuck!), pet hair (I like pets but I’d like them to keep their hair), and lint (nothing is cooler than a girl walking around with lint all over her clothing- not anymore!).
They’re affordable! I can’t get over the price! They used to come in boxes of 120ct….now because they are three times as strong they come in boxes of 40ct. And the price is simply shocking! So affordable!
A few things I wish these Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets offered:
I wish the boxes came in larger quantities. 40 per box is a great start but with a family of six these wouldn’t last me very long at all.
More scents needed! I’m a fan of scents and I like to mix it up. I’d love to see Purex come out with a few more scents to share with their customers.
