Disney On Ice Presents Frozen Recap #DisneyOnIceInsider

I received something of value from Feld Entertainment as part of their Insider Program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Last evening my family and I had the chance to attend opening night (Minneapolis) of Disney On Ice Frozen. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! We’ve seen two other Disney On Ice shows but as my husband said, “Frozen is the best Disney On Ice show we’ve seen by far!”

Disney On Ice Frozen

It was a bit hard to get photos because the lighting was so dramatic and everything was moving. What I have does NOT do the show justice. It’s definitely worth going to see in real life if you have the chance.

Before I go on and on about the good things, I do have three things to warn you about: 1) The show starts with a brief introduction by Mickey, Mini, Goofy, and Donald Duck, and is then followed by the Disney Princesses and other popular Disney characters. This confused my girls as they thought they were not going to get to see Frozen. 2) There are pyrotechnics that can catch you a bit off guard. A few scared my girls. Nothing, however, that would deter me from bringing young children though. 3) The wolves are scary. Even I thought they were scary.

Once you are aware of those three minor things, you are set to enjoy this awesome show. The Disney on Ice Frozen show is just as funny and dramatic as the movie. They skip a lot of the boring and/or talking parts of the movie and highlight the best parts, especially the songs. They encourage you to sing along and that’s just what we did!

When I asked my girls what their favorite part of Disney on Ice Frozen was, they both said, “everything!” Though Tottie was pretty impressed by the snowman monster too. I was impressed by the lighting and pyrotechnics that went along with Elsa.

Hubby took a bit of video of the show so I made it into a 5 minute photo and video recap so you can get a taste of what you’ll see:
