I’m going to show you the contents of my purse. It’s not to scare you, but rather to give you a little insight into my life. You see, I’m a nurse and people always joke that nurses are walking pharmacies. I’ll let you be the judge…
Next comes my phone. It’s my life line and I don’t know what I’d do without it. You can kinda say I’m addicted to the technology. Along with my phone comes my external phone charger. I got it for Christmas last year and it too has been a life saver for me and a bunch of my friends and family. Nothing like your phone dying in the middle of something important!
See those two large bottles? Yes, they are in my purse as I write this. Yes, I am going to find a smaller container for them in the near future. The first bottle is Emergen-C® Immune+ Chewables. I’m a nurse who works with sick children. I need all the immune support I can get! The other bottle is Centrum® VitaMints®. I had a hard time remembering to take my vitamins every day. Now with VitaMints® I can pop them in my mouth on my way into work and I get my vitamins along with fresh breath to start my shift! They really do taste like regular mints and don’t have a chalky taste either.
Next in my purse you’ll see adhesive bandages and Advil®. These are my absolute MUST in my purse!! I don’t go anywhere without these two purse essentials! Advil® is my go-to drug of choice for my frequent stress related headaches and I’m the one everyone turns to for adhesive bandages when someone gets hurt. Come to think of it, I’m the one everyone asks for Advil® when we’re out and about too! Per Advil®, “nothing’s stronger, longer lasting or better on your tough aches and pains than Advil, and nothing works on more pains than Advil® (among OTC pain relievers).”
Last but not least, what girl doesn’t carry at least a few beauty products in her purse? Lip moisturizer, lipsitck, a foldable brush with a mirror…I’m not exactly a girly, girl but I do want to look and feel good. These are the things I carry for those times I want to feel less like a mom and more like a woman. Add mascara to the beauty products in my purse and I’m ready for a date with Hubby!
You can find all of my purse essentials mentioned above at Walmart in the Health and Beauty section. So, what do you think? Am I a walking pharmacy?
