If you have been a faithful follower of this blog you will know that I am a big time planner! This Disney trip that we’re taking has been a lot of fun for me because there are tons of details I can plan to make it even more special for my kids. It’s almost like planning a wedding where you can fine tune all the details to make the event incredibly memorable. I purchased the above ADORABLE outfit from a sweet gal who owns Princess Gianna Boutique. She is offering all of our readers 10% off their purchase during this week of Disney!!! Be sure to check her page out, like it, and drool over the adorable finds! She has way more than just Disney too!!!
Each day we are there I have a different outfit planned out for my family. We are also going with some good friends and their daughter so I was sure to include them in my obsessive planning. I made shirts for the mommy’s and the daddy’s using the same technique in my tutorial on How to make an applique shirt.
My daughter is obsessed with Tinkerbell so I knew exactly what I wanted to do for one of our Magic Kingdom days. Tink-it-up! I made the Tink shirt using my applique technique and bought an adorable iron-on Tinkerbell patch to boot! Add a lime green tutu/pettiskirt and she’s going to be one rockin’ Tinkerbell.
For our Animal Kingdom day I busted out my sewing machine and made my kids some safari vests using an old pattern I found. I added a little pocket on the front, a little clip and a name badge to make it a little bit more special. I ordered the shirts from a fantastic gal who made us a Goofy, Donald, Mickey, and Minnie shirt. Jen from Just Joshin’ Custom Creations made the shirts for us and I will tell you all that they are awesome! My kids are going to flip! She’s offering our fabulous readers 15% off their purchase from now until June 15th. She is ALSO offering one lucky winner a Free Custom Shirt of their choice! Woot woot!

A lovely lady on Etsy made my daughter and my friends daughter a set of 15 bows! One for each Disney Princess out there! Jasmine is one of my favorites…and my daughter is partial to Merida from Brave. She was kind enough to offer one of our lucky readers a free hair bow of choice! What a great way to start your collection! Be sure to enter below.
All in all there are lots of ways to make your Disney trip extra special without breaking your bank! I hope you have enjoyed a walk through our trip!
I would choose the classic Minnie shirt for my daughter!
