If you’ve been following our blog for a while you know how much I love to sew. Yes, it is true- I sew A LOT! I found some ADORABLE Disney princess shirts for sale on Etsy a few weeks ago but I seriously couldn’t stomach the thought of paying $35-$55 for ONE shirt. Guess who came to the rescue? My husband! He owns his own business and he was able to get me a handful of plain white shirts for me to be crafty and creative with. The shirts arrived and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with each one! I purchased some iron-on appliques of each Disney princess and began looking for the correct fonts for the names.
Each character has their name in the font that Disney chose to use. I simply followed my instructions HERE and got to work. I simply cut out each name of the princesses I wanted to make and attached them to the shirts using a bonding material. I added extra security to the letters by stitching them into place. I hope that these shirts will inspire you to create your own and that you will share them with us!
