When Gordmans contacted me to partner with them to promote back to school shopping. I was all over it. The provided me with a gift card and the girls and I went to town!
To be honest, I had seen Gordmans in our local mall but until now, had never actually shopped there. I don’t know why. After this first trip, we will definitely be going back!
Both Nutty and Tottie are picky when it comes to clothes shopping, especially Nutty. Shopping with her can be torture. I don’t know if it’s just this year’s styles or Gordmans themselves, but Nutty had NO problems finding clothes she liked at Gordmans.
She narrowed her selection to two shirts, a pair of pants, and a pair of boots. Tottie, who was less than cooperative for photos and shopping, immediately found a My Little Pony outfit and decided she was done. She would have liked a pair of boots too but the ones she liked were not in her size. Oh well.
We’ll be back to Gordmans for more Back To School shopping another day when Tottie is more into it. After all, the prices are definitely reasonable and the clothes are super cute! I can’t wait to shop for myself too! I quickly browsed the home goods and woman’s clothing sections and found some stuff I like.
Need another reason to shop at Gordmans for your back to school clothes? For the second consecutive year, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and Gordmans are teaming up to promote ADL’s No Place for Hate® initiative. The goal is to help eradicate hatred, prejudice and bullying as students and teachers prepare to head back to school this fall. Research shows that 28 percent of students ages 12 to 18 years old report being bullied at school, and 24 percent in the same age group report being cyberbullied.
Throughout the month of August, Gordmans, which operates 97 stores in 20 states, will join ADL in a call to action encouraging individuals to take a stand against bullying and prejudice in schools and communities. Guests at Gordmans stores are invited to purchase “Helping Hands” for $1 each or more in support of the initiative. Every dollar raised will directly benefit ADL’s No Place for Hate® initiative and other anti-bullying programs.
One lucky US Toys In The Dryer reader will win a $25 Gordmans gift card to help with your back to school shopping!
