This is Lindsi doing a guest post for you all. Have you missed me? I just had to share my experiences with Stitch Fix. Please note that Stitch Fix did NOT ask me to write a review about their service/product. I did this of my own free will because I honestly think every busy mom could use a quality service like this in their life! Please also know that I will receive a $25 credit if you sign up…but the good news for you is that if you spread the word with your own link you too can earn $25 for each person!
Some of you may have heard about Stitch Fix before….but some of you haven’t. Remember that feeling when Christmas morning finally came? Well that is the same feeling I got when my Stitch Fix box finally arrived!
What is Stitch Fix? It’s a fantastically fun website where you have a virtual stylist! When you sign up for your first “fix” you fill out a questionnaire about your personal style, likes, dislikes, needs, and “no thanks.” It’s not just black and white questions “do you like earrings?” It’s so much more than that! They even ask you to take a peek at a few ensembles and have you rate them…Love it! This process will help your stylist get to know you better. They even give you several choices as a price point so that things are within your budget! Don’t let the prices of my fix scare you….I picked the $50-$100/item range…you have the option to pick “the cheaper the better” if that fits your budget better.
My stylist sent me a personal note (and I know she read my profile because her note was spot on). Along with the personal note you get these fantastic idea cards that helped me figure out casual and dressy ways to wear each item. This is amazingly helpful for a busy mom (and with 4 kids I AM that busy mom).
Wanna know what was in my first “fix” box and what I thought of it? Here you go!
What I don’t love- Can’t think of anything!
Verdict? KEPT
What I don’t love- In all honesty it’s just not my style. I have several solid color dresses but they tend to be a bit more fitted. I have never been one to like a cowl neck either. The belt seemed a bit too thin for this bold of a color. This dress was out of my price range too. I just couldn’t justify spending $128 on a dress I wasn’t in love with.

What I don’t love- The fit. It just was too blousy for my taste. I worked really hard to get my body back after 4 kids and I wanted to show off my figure. The no-go for me was the way I had to take it off. I like to be able to take one arm out at a time but this shirt wouldn’t come off that way…I had to grab it at the bottom and pull it up over my head, totally messing my hair up! =(

What I don’t love- Hmm, I will have to get back to you on that one.
Verdict? KEPT
What I don’t love- The color. Had these been tan, gray, navy, or even a bright spring/summer color I would have said “yes, please!” but olive is just not a color I could do. I know that these would have sat on a shelf and been worn once. For $68 I couldn’t just let these adorable shorts sit on a shelf.
