If you’ve read our blog for any amount of time, you know that we’ve done our fair share of product reviews. Companies send us products to try out for a week up to a month and we write our thoughts about them. 99% of the time we write positive reviews because if we don’t like a something, we inform the company, and they tell us not to post a review (or sometimes they give us a different product to try). What happens after the review though? Do we still like and use these products months or even years after our initial post? Read on to discover which products we’re still in love with.
We were not asked by any of these companies to write a follow up review and we have received no compensation for this post. We simply thought it would be fun to share with our readers that yes, we really DO like, and still use, a lot of the products we review. You might consider this our idea of a Holiday Gift Guide 🙂
1) Urban Halo. We reviewed Urban Halo headbands back when we were just two weeks old. That’s over two years ago! We are still in love with these headbands. The company has grown leaps and bounds over the past two years but their quality headbands remain the same. Despite trying multiple competitors, both Lindsi and I continue to go back to our Halos. We’ve also turned on a ton of friends to them too.
2) GE Hybrid Stainless Steel Dishwasher. Jamie wrote multiple posts about her dishwasher over a three month review period. It’s been 4 months since her last post and a total of 7 months that she’s owned the dishwasher. It continues to be an awesome washer and she has certainly put it through it’s fair share of challenges. Her Hubby thinks it’s just slightly louder sounding than when it first arrived but Jamie thinks he’s wrong.
3) Flash Pals. It’s been 9 months since we received this cute little flash drives in the mail and they continue to delight us. Despite some worry, they have held up over repeated uses over the last 9 months. As I originally suspected, my zebra is a bit dirty but it’s not horrible. He continues to strike up conversations at the coffee shop.
4) Sleep Number Pillow[ology] Pillows. We’ve been sleeping on our Pillow[ology] pillows for just over a year. Though Lindsi continues to use hers, she is not as addicted as Jamie is. Jamie can NOT sleep without her pillow! To be honest, the pillows are a bit on the expensive side but Jamie must find a way to convince Hubby to let her buy a new one when her current one wears out! Jamie wishes she could find a cheaper pillow (she’s looked) but alas, her neck loves her Pillow[ology] pillow.
5) Last December we had the chance to review two SimplyFun games. Jamie chose Treasure Trot and Lindsi chose Bee Alert. Jamie’s girls play the game with their friends on occasion, but Lindsi’s family continues to play their game on a weekly basis! Lindsi’s husband still thinks Bee Alert is one of “the coolest games” he has played. In both cases, the quality of the games is awesome and they have held up better than any other game both families own.
6) Staples provided Jamie with a Google Nexus 7 Tablet to review back in January of this year. The tablet gets used every single day by either her or her kids (mostly her kids). It has traveled all over the state with the family and has survived multiple drops thanks to a basic case. Jamie continues to find it easier to use than some other tablets she has tried.
7) Lindsi has had her Oral-B Smart Series 4000 toothbrush for just under a year and she still uses it twice a day. She still loves it and has finally gotten used to her nose tickling when she brushes. Her dentist continues to give her rave reviews too!
8) Britax Boulevard Convertable car seat. Ok, so it’s only been two months since Lindsi received her Britax car seat but she swears it’s her favorite car seat she’s owned and knows she’ll continue to love it until her son outgrows it. It is by far, the easiest seat to wash and reassemble. The fabric looks great despite multiple washes too!
9) It’s been 5 months since Lindsi first reviewed the InnoTab 2S Tablet and one month since she got to try the InnoTab 3S Tablet. Her kids love both tablets and use them every day. Since there are only two tablets and 4 kids, they fight over who gets to play with them. I sense more tablets for Christmas this year!
That’s it. As you can see, some of our most favorite review products go back two years! We love these products and we know that your family will love them too. Christmas shopping has begun! Will you buy any of these?
