How To Make Origami Paper Poppers

A few weeks ago my daughter and her best friend told me they wanted to start making YouTube video tutorials. After much debate (and coaching from me), they decided that their first tutorial would be origami paper poppers. Below you’ll see their debut video but first I need to introduce you to Kiki and Ree.

Most of you know my oldest daughter as”Nutty”, the nickname I gave her shortly after birth because she was such a peanut. For her video tutorials, Nutty wanted a more “grown up” name so she chose “Kiki”. Her best friend decided on “Ree” because it’s fairly close to her real life nickname. Kiki and Ree hope to some day have their own YouTube channel but for now they are “ugh, stuck,” as Nutty says, on my channel.

I decided that it wasn’t worth it to create an entire channel if they are only going to make one or two videos. If this is really something that they (and I, because I have to edit and upload) really do continue then I will let them have their own channel. For now, they get the benefit of being advertised on my ToysInTheDryer blog and YouTube channel.

This origami paper poppers video isn’t the best production in the world but they are super proud of it and I am proud of them. Hopefully, the more videos they/we make, the better the set up will be! Enjoy Kiki and Ree’s debut video tutorial!
