Liquid Chalkers Review and Giveaway! #ad

My girls love chalk. They also love markers. When I saw a request to review liquid chalk markers, I thought they would be perfect for my girls!

Unfortunately, neither girl was home when they arrived in the mail so I decided to give them a try 🙂 Um, yeah, bad idea…I went a bit crazy coloring all over the windows and mirrors of our house!

Liquid Chalkers came with specific instructions about using them on non-porous surfaces vs porous surfaces but says mirrors and windows are safe so that’s what I stuck with.  After all, that’s the only thing I’ll allow my girls to use them on anyway.  If you accidentally use them on a porous surface and they don’t wipe away easily, Magic Erasers work well at removing residue left behind.

My girls came home from their playdates and saw my writings all over the house and insisted on trying the markers themselves…They couldn’t get enough!  They had fun drawing and erasing, drawing and erasing all over the front door.  When all was said and done…this is what my door looked like…

Fun huh?  Ok, so whats so special about these liquid chalk markers vs regular chalk or dry erase markers?  First off, chalk is porous/rough surfaces only and doesn’t even compare.  Below you can see the Liquid Chalkers vs regular dry erase markers on both a dry erase board and on a window.  In both example you can see that the liquid chalk is more bold than the dry erase but it is more prominent on the window.  In fact, you can’t even really see the word “markers” in the window photo.

The best part about these markers, however, is that they wipe away super easy with a dry cloth and there’s no stain left behind like some dry erase markers can leave.  Even Hubby thought these markers were “cool” when he used one to respond to the message I left on the bathroom mirror.

Other surfaces these markers work well on:

  • Metal
  • Non-porous chalk boards
  • Glass
  • Non-porous ceramic
  • Chalkboard contact paper
  • White boards
  • Mirrors
  • Plastic
  • Non-porous laminate
  • We Love You Because boards

Just remember, these are non-permanent so you can’t use them to label things unless you don’t want the label to last long.

One of our lucky winners will receive a pack of Liquid Chalkers for themselves!
